Netflix DVDs kicks in!

My girlfriend recently splashed out on a Netflix DVD account to help increase the variety of things we can watch. I have been allowed to list a few movies on it and wasted no time on getting as many of the remaining films as possible up on the list. The first to arrive was Cool Hand Luke! This was an interesting film. I have very little knowledge of Chain Gangs but I am not sure that really matters much, the film is much more about the psychology of captivity in much the same way as Bridge over the River Kwai and The Shawshank Redemption. It was a good film, not happy and I am unlikely to watch it again but I certainly don't regret taking the time to see it.

69 Films still to watch: (Bold are on Netflix at time of writing)

  1. Network is great; an intelligent black comedy classic. How have you never seen Gone with the Wind!? All Quiet on the Western Front I remember watching in class @ high school. Rope: similar to the recent Birdman movie, but the original "one shot" movie, iirc.

Btw, I'm currently painting up Necromunda Cawdor figures for Adepticon. I'll send you a pic when they're further along.

    1. There are a bunch of interesting films on the list.... I have a little pride at my long history of dodging Gone with the Wind... but I guess I have to bite the bullet some time!

I was always more of an Orlock fan for the sculpts (Van Saar are hands down the best gang skills wise). Looking forward to seeing pics though!
